Federal High Court, Abuja on Wednesday suspended the trial of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu till May 26, 2022 for the continuations of trial, Naijareporter reports.
The trial judge, Justice Binta Nyako had declared the suspension date after releasing application for bail brought before her by Nnamdi Kanu.
Justice Binta Nyako, in a ruling, said since Kanu was earlier granted bail in 2017 and shifted the bail, the court must first adjudged the real reason while he jumped the bail before applying for another one.
Justice Nyako then released the application for bail.
However, She now suspend it till May 26 for the continuation of trial.
